"our next event to honor george will be 12pm-8pm at Big Willly's on 6th St across the street from the U of A 6th Street Garage. It will be an all ages event so feel free to bring your kids. Donations will be taken at the door and there about 20 djs particiating. There will be 3 areas for djs to spin. Outside (O) will be turntables and 57 mixer, Big Room (B) will be turntables and 62 mixer, Lounge (L) will be cdjs, projector, and pioneer mixer. This will be a very loose schedule so djs you are very welcome to trade slots with each other and adjust set lengths which is about an our each. Thank you so much for participating. Legend DJ Hurricane who is considered by many as one of Tucson's Godfathers of DJ-ing passed away today. My prayers go out to his family and his closest friends. The man was a humble person and a DJ legend. Everywhere he went he was reppin' Tucson's & Arizona's DJ scene. We even went to the same College, ASU! Go SUN DEVILS!! 
 I always referred to him as "Legend DJ Hurricane" when I saw him. He will be missed. There is a void in the local DJ scene now. LDJ Hurricane has been on his grind since he first started and many other DJs  (including myself) learned from watching him. 
He would bring many DJs from different genres/generations/locations from mobile, digger, EDM, club, skratch, battle, hobbyist, (ect) together and we all had that one thing in commom beside being a dj was that we knew of him and shared that bond. (DJ Herm stated that with more detail).
 It was a honor to do a BTC (Behind The Crossfadar Podcast) interview with Legend DJ Hurricane and DJ Phat Soul as the 2 hosts and I being the guest DJ. In an interview, He referred to me as a "Battle DJ" which in itself was a honor because I didn't know that he knew I was out there taking titles and entering DJ battles in other cities as opposed to some "kid" that just entered DJ competitions.
 This man leaves behind a wife, children, family, close friends, DJ friends, Party/ Club Friends, Fans & a Tucson Culture that he help create. His love for vinyl and old school was his specialty and getting together people, including different styles of DJs was a gift that he had.
This was a human being that left our Earth way too early.
His cause of death has not yet been confirmed in public, nor do I want to ask nor do I care. He is already gone with the Gods. Although it was related to a medical condition and complication. His true friends and family know the details as do I.
 The important thing is that he changed alot of people's/Artist/DJ's lives and brought positive vibes where ever he went. LDJH never spoke down on others and talked high of other DJs. LDJH along with other old school Tucson DJs paved the way in Tucson, AZ for others (DJs) to come into the local Club/Party scene. He was always willing to gave advice when asked. He bonded many people together that would not normally come together because he was that type of person.

The Owners and family-in worker(s) were just lazy, had no clue about anything, rude, and were not on top of their business along with not caring about the music scene as much as me. I was doing all the contact,booking,setting up work while they sit there and profited. Whats positive about this bad situation is learning the business ins and outs and what to do and what not to do. Hey Party People, just for the record, I dont do TGIF (Fridays) at Vaudeville downtown Tucson, Az anymore. I stopped in June To have a Night named after me was so dope and I loved it but they took advantage of me. I lost shows because I had to be there on my weekely night and lost hundreds even thoasands of dollars. It was fun while it lasted we both parted ways and I moved on to bigger and better things and didnt like the way things were heading. I was being mislead & ended up running the whole spot not just being a dj and not getting the right amount of pay. Too many errors and non business practices when I was there and so many people complaining. First and foremost I DJ for the love and nothing else. I paid my dues I dont need to be promoting other peoples shows and making posters and doing the labor like when i first started. I do it for the love but you cant take advantage of me because of that. God Bless- Grap

Yes I wanted to Square UP & I wanted to take it out to the back, like I use to do.

Merry ox knew that I would of destroyed his bully street cred and I would get my ground & pound on. Knowing that made it less likely for merry ox to go outside of the club and settle it one-on-one(drama free).
Instead he wanted to cause a scene knowing that by the time he got to where i was at (20 feet away) his friends and people around would be there to break it up (cause he didnt want to get beat) making him look like the bad ass on some WWF type of act. By the time he got to me he had like 2-3 people hold him back. I was laughing yet if he came any closer he was in for a night with the sandman. OX IS A PHONEY. I stood there calm, ready, to throw a haymaker and I wanted to K.O. the bastard-like 35 year old Bitchmade oX. Believe me I wanted to knock his ass out like I almost did a few years ago on tour.

On top of that he stepped through a water pound and got his fake jordans wet when he could of just step 2 feet to the right avoid that dirty pound water. hahahahha!! WHAT A MORON. We laughed all night about it. It was the on going topic! "Dude step through the water to try to get to you" WTF stupid stupid

Also Scared Marcus Willlaims Bitch OX was yelling and being loud trying to make himself look hard but instead he was making himself look a fool & embarrassing himself at the club. That Ox Fool wanted attention, kinda like a girl- myspace whore, or cam gal/picture girl. CryBaby Ox didnt want to square up.

Real mother fawkers would of silently came up so noone would know they were fighting but this dude wanted attention so that he can look like he was going to fight & let it get broken up so I didnt beat his ass. merry ox disrespected his cool friends, a great venue, the promoter, the night, the dope djs playing, & made himself look like an idiot infront of hundreds that were in attendance. dude is hella fake. + dont buy into his lies. let him suffer. -Grap
